EC Comics
EC Comics was an American publisher of comic books. In 1954–55, censorship pressures prompted EC to cease publication of all its comic books except Mad, which was converted into a black-and-white magazine. EC's New Trend comic books included: Tales from the Crypt The Haunt of Fear The Vault of Horror Weird Fantasy Weird Science Weird Science-Fantasy (replacing Weird Fantasy and Weird Science) Crime SuspenStories Shock SuspenStories Two-Fisted Tales Frontline Combat Mad (Humor in a Jugular Vein) Panic (Humor in a Varicose Vein)
