Founded by Marcos Farrajota in 2000 and directed with Joana Pires since 2010, we publish Art Brut Comix - outsider comics artists, visionaires, artists that you can’t pigeonhole - from all over the planet: Portugal, USA, UK, Croatia, Finland, Serbia, Romenia, Holand, South Africa, Belgium, Russia, Greece... We worked with Ar.Co art school; got prize in 2010 by the TITAN Design contest with "Já não há maçãs no Paraíso / No more apples in Paradise" by Max Tilmann; in 2011 five of your published authors (Janus, André Lemos, Pepedelrey, João Maio Pinto and Tiago Manuel) were in the exhibition "Tinta nos Nervos" at Museu-Colecção Berardo contemporary art museum; "Caminhando Com Samuel" of Tommi Musturi was selected has one of the "1001 Comics You Must Read Before You Die", a critical history of graphic novels directed by Paul Gravett; and in 2014 "W.C." by Marriette Tosel was selected for a Comics contest promoted by the Society of Illustrators (NY); Anton Kannemeyer made confence in Gulbenkian Foundation and won Best Foreigner Book with "Papá em África" in Amadora Comics Fest.
