Liv Strömquist is one of the most influential feminist comic artists. Born in 1978 in Lund, Sweden, the political scientist regularly illustrates Swedish magazines and newspapers. Her breakthrough as a comic artist started with the 2005 album "Hundra procent fett" ("One hundred percent fat").
Strömquist's publications deal with social questions on a broad scale of references from popular culture to the bible. She focuses on sociopolitical issues, prominently power and injustice, from a feminist and left-wing perspective. Since 2005 Strömquist has also been working for several radio programs. Today she lives in Malmö.
