The lone stag in the wilderness is a concept that inspires me. He's alone, yet searching. His surroundings are treacherous, yet epic. I also like to combine geometric shapes and odd coloration with organic life—the contrasting mixture is something I enjoy. I think Wilco does that well from a musical standpoint, and never seem to mind being a bit unconventional. |
