| Notes | Show edition, s/# out of 200 Gold edition, s/# out of 300 Red edition, s/# out of 20 From the artist: Since the band is a duo, I wanted the print to function as a set with a theme of 2s throughout: 2 smoke rings, 2 different card suits in each print and 2 band members. I just like the way smoke rings look, their shape and texture, and I thought a film noir vibe would be an interesting way to represent the band's stay in Vegas. The tire tracks in the background are a nod to Akron and the Rubber Factory era of the Black Keys. It's tough to see the black tracks from here but they give the print a little painterly texture in person. |
