| Notes | Regular edition, s/# out of 150 Red edition, s/# out of 25 Navy edition, s/# out of 25 From the artist: In exploring the lyrics of Mumford and Sons I found that much of their sound is haunted by biblical themes and I wanted my print to touch on that, as well to have a color scheme reminiscent of the old leather bound bibles with gold writing on the covers. The image itself is a trinity of lion, serpent and lamb as a parallel to God, Satan and man, with them all being interwoven in a metaphorical way. There is also a divine hidden image in the print. If you look at the lions mouth, you will see an angel appear. |
