I don't always study the venue but the natural beauty of Red Rocks proved impossible to ignore and played a huge role in constructing the art. You'll notice directly south of the black hole sits a (literal) dying star. I thought the connection to the track 'Starfuckers' along with Trent's relationship to David Bowie and his final record, 'Blackstar' made for a compelling inclusion. One side note is that the printing in the gig poster world continues to improve. I was amazed at how little detail was lost in the final printed image. -TS |
