| Notes | Standard edition, s/# of 200 Foil edition, s/# of 40 From the artist: The art is meant to pair with my MMJ mystery planet print from 2015. The MMJ image is essentially the view from the northern hemisphere and the Puscifer shown here is the southern hemisphere. Musically, the band's are polar opposites of one each other and the views reflect that. Stylistically, I'm mixing photographic elements with a stipple technique for the rim lighting around the elephants and the long cast shadows. My hope is that the finished scene looks like a real place. If you look closely on one of the islands you'll see an obelisk. The inclusion of the pillar and color scheme is meant as a hat tip to Dali's elephants who are often seen carrying these landmarks... -TS |
