Amália Rodrigues

Amália Rodrigues (Lisbon, July 1st, 1920 - Lisbon, October 6, 1999) was a Portuguese singer and actress, considered one of the greatest ever singers of the fado genre. With 30 million records sold, she is the highest selling Portuguese singer of all time. Her younger sister was Celeste Rodrigues, also a successful Fado singer.
