| Description | The 'Residenz' in central Munich is the former royal palace of the Wittelsbach monarchs of Bavaria. One of the larger courtyards of the Residenz is the narrow, octagonal fountain courtyard, which was used as a carriage driveway at the time. In the summer months it serves as an open-air location for the 'Brunnenhof concerts' of various organizers. In the historical ambience classical concerts are performed, but also rock and pop music echo through the courtyard. |
