Founded 1938 in France by engineer Joseph Léon (1908-1984), whose son Pierre-Etienne still makes loudspeakers today. Equipped ORTF national studios fr TV & radios and many public/professional venues with their famous "balls" (round loudspeakers, passive or amplified). Belongs now to a greater group that sells electronics, furniture... and uses the brand famous name to badge sound-related items
