| Notes | Clear acrylic plinth high end turntable with an acrylic platter. The TMD model uses an hydromagnetic bearing, which decouples the upper half of the bearing with the platter from the lower half by using opposing magnets, lowering noise and rumble significantly. The motor is located in a separate housing, which is also decoupled from the plinth. Round rubber belt runs the chrome sub-platter. Speed is selected by moving the belt on the motor axis. The turntable uses an external AC / DC power source, which can be upgraded to an AC "Konstant" power souce with speed selection. The turntable ships without a tonearm, with Transrotor's own S-Shaped tonearm or Transrotor-modified SME 309 tonearm. |
