Go Video was a pre-cert VHS distributor that was founded back in 1979 in South London by a couple of record company executives, one of them being Des Dolan. It was formally known as "Video 7" which originally released vintage films (usually being horror) but are also known to be in near extinction to this day. The company later was re-launched as GO Video" in early 1981 and began releasing mainly gore and exploit adult horror films or known as alleged "video nasties" which a few of their gore titles such as Cannibal Holocaust and SS Experiment Camp ending up on the DPP 39 list. Due to this they became known as one of the several most controversial video labels in the pre-cert era. The company was shut down in 1983.
