Gruppo Mediaset

The Mediaset group is a group of companies whose holding company is Mediaset S.p.A., the leading private Italian and Spanish television operator. Actually Mediaset S.p.A. is a sub-holding company of Fininvest S.p.A., a holding company founded in 1978 by Silvio Berlusconi. Since 1994 the president of the Mediaset Group has been Fedele Confalonieri.
