MSC Multimedia Super Corridor

The Multimedia Super Corridor, MSC for short, is a special economic zone in Malaysia that is aimed at companies in the field of information and communication technology. The MSC is part of the national Vision 2020 project, which Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, announced in 1991: Malaysia is to become a fully industrialized state by 2020. The MSC is an approximately 15 km wide and 50 km long area stretching between the Petronas Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The MSC also includes the two cities of Cyberjaya and Putrajaya, where the country's administration is now housed.
