VPS is a German movie distributor. Founded in 1978 as VPS Video Programm Service GmbH (VPS GmbH), the company was renamed to VPS Video (GmbH) and, in 1986, again to VPS Film Entertainment GmbH, after expanding activities from video only to theatrical distributions and TV-rights licensing. Since the late 1990s, the companies main buisiness area lays in erotic- / adult films and re-marketing of their movie stock.
