Senator Film
Senator Entertainment AG, which has been producing and distributing German and international cinema films through its operational subsidiaries Senator Film Produktion and Senator Film Verleih since the 1970s, had to file for bankruptcy in spring 2004. On July 25, 2014, it was announced that Senator and French independent film distributor Wild Bunch S.A. wants to merge. On July 8, 2015, the company announced that it had changed its name to Wild Bunch AG.
