Alan Smithee
Credit historically used for directors who wanted to remain anonymous for various reasons. Officially retired after it was lampooned in "Burn Hollywood Burn" (1998). When adding a film credited to Smithee to Filmogs, add both the Alan Smithee credit and the director's real name (if known) as credits, with "Alan Smithee" in the As box for the real director.
