Lamont Johnson
American actor and movie director. Born September 30th, 1922 in Stockton, California, he was best known for his work on TV series such as "Gunsmoke" and "Alfred Hitchcock presents..." before directing feature films like "The Last American Hero" and specializing into mini series for television like the Emmy-awarded "Lincoln". Johnson received the Director's Guide of America Award four times during his career. He died of heart failure in Monterey, California on October 24th, 2010.
