H.P. Lovecraft
Howard Phillips Lovecraft (born 20 August 1890, Providence, Rhode Island, United States) was an influential writer of macabre and horror fiction. His most famous creation is the Cthulhu mythos, a concept of cosmical horror that has had a huge influence on popular culture: many horror movies are based on this concept and many writers have taken this idea and elaborated on it.
