Gino Latilla, born Gennaro Latilla, was an Italian singer.
After the war he was on tour in Germany and the United States and then was hired as a "radio singer" in RAI in 1952, thanks to the interest of the maestro Cinico Angelini, who wanted him in his orchestra after listening to the radio Gigolette (1951) . Just Angelini nicknamed him "my mistake", for having considered him "unsuitable" in a previous audition. In 1953 he had a part in the Italian musical film Ten love songs to save, by Flavio Calzavara, singing together with other famous singers of the time such as Nilla Pizzi, Giacomo Rondinella and Franco Ricci.
In the sixties Gino Latilla temporarily abandoned his artistic career to work as a RAI manager, first in Rome and then in Florence. For Italian television he also followed the footballing events of Fiorentina, Pistoiese and other Tuscan teams.
He returned on the stage in the eighties, forming, together with Nilla Pizzi, Carla Boni and Giorgio Consolini, the Quelli di Sanremo group.
