Cesare Andrea Bixio

Cesare Andrea Bixio was an Italian composer of Neapolitan and light music, author of soundtracks for theater, cinema, radio and television. Since 1909 he has composed more than 500 songs and 150 soundtracks. Bixio's merit was that of being able to propose a repertoire in Italian to singers of light music and songs that until then were mainly based on French compositions or on traditional dialectal music.
