Martin Gschlacht

Martin Gschlacht is an Austrian cameraman and co-founder of the Vienna film production company coop99. Martin Gschlacht studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration before completing the camera assistant course at the Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna and working as a cameraman for music videos, short films and commercials. He then studied camera and production at the Vienna Film Academy, where he graduated in 1996 as a mag. completed. In 1998, together with Valentin Hitz and Markus Wogrolly, he founded Martin Gschlacht Filmproduktion, with which they made some short films. In 1999 he founded the Viennese film production company coop99 with the directors Barbara Albert, Antonin Svoboda and Jessica Hausner. In 2009 Martin Gschlacht founded the Academy of Austrian Film together with other Austrian filmmakers and is also a member of its board.
