Ованес Минасян

Minasyan Ovanes Martirosovich (Onik Minasyan) Russian: Минасян Ованес Мартиросович (Оник Минасян) 10 January, 1928, Leninakan, Armenia - 5 July, 1972, Yerevan Painter. Pupil Martiros Saryan. In 1948-1954 He studied at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin at the Academy of Arts. He worked in Yerevan. Created a lot of lyrical landscapes. In his works he used bright, saturated colors, worked with pure colors. Participant of exhibitions since 1955. The artist's works are in many museum collections in Armenia, as well as in private collections in Russia
