Mario Amendola
Mario Amendola was an Italian playwright, screenwriter and director. An indefatigable author, he directed 37 films, especially comedy, and collaborated on countless screenplays, plays and popular TV shows. He often teamed up with Ruggero Maccari and then with Bruno Corbucci, with whom he formed an iron partnership. The two gave birth to the popular character of Nico Giraldi, a true and astute police inspector played by Tomas Milian and star of eleven films.
