Peppino De Filippo

Peppino De Filippo, born Giuseppe De Filippo, was an Italian comedian, actor and playwright. He was one of the most important and appreciated Italian comic actors, both in roles of protagonist and co-protagonist. Great popularity had his presence alongside Totò in many successful films of the fifties and sixties. He was the brother of Titina and Eduardo De Filippo, one of the most important actors and directors of the Neapolitan theater.
