David Byrne
Scottish-American singer/songwriter/musician/record producer/artist/actor/writer/filmmaker. Born 14 May 1952 in Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, UK. Founding member of American new wave/alternative band Talking Heads. Winner of the 1988 Academy Award for Best Music, Original Score for The Last Emperor (shared with Ryuichi Sakamoto, Cong Su). Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 as a member of Talking Heads.
