Patrick McGoohan

Patrick Joseph McGoohan (March 19, 1928 Astoria, Queens, New York City, New York, USA – January 13, 2009 Santa Monica, California, USA) was an Irish-American actor, screenwriter and director. He began his career in the United Kingdom in the 1950s, relocating to the United States in the 1970s. His career-defining roles were in the British television series Danger Man (US: Secret Agent) and the surreal psychological drama The Prisoner, which he co-created. He was a BAFTA and twice Primetime Emmy Award winner.
