Liana Orfei

Liana Orfei is an Italian theater and film actress as well as a circus. She was also a singer and like her cousin Moira Orfei and her granddaughter Ambra Orfei belongs to the Orfei circus dynasty. Active in the cinema between the fifties and the seventies, she was the interpreter of about forty films. She recalled the circus scene in I clowns, a 1970 documentary film directed by Federico Fellini. She is also an honorary citizen of Marano sul Panaro. The town, located in the province of Modena, where she had found hospitality with a peasant family during the Second World War.
