Franco Sportelli

Franco Sportelli was an Italian actor. For the Italian cinema, starting from the fifties, he participated in several films, in roles often as a character. His character of the waiter Vincenzo is memorable, in the comedy Miseria e nobiltà (1954) by Mario Mattoli, together with Totò and the treacherous Enobarbo, traitor of Marco Antonio (played by Totò) in Totò and Cleopatra. He worked with directors such as Giorgio Strehler, Giuseppe Patroni Griffi and Nanni Loy.
