Elena Balestri began her career in Rai in 1969: she conceived and produced some of the most important Raiuno entertainment broadcasts of which she was the head.
Deputy director of Raidue, again for entertainment programs, she then moved to Rai Giubileo where she curated the great events of 2000, including the World Youth Day in Tor Vergata.
Since 2002 she has been the editorial coordinator of Rai Vaticano where, among other things, she has produced the biographies of John Paul II and Benedict XVI, as well as numerous services related to the most important religious events of these years.
