Giuseppe Perotti, also known as Pinchi, was an Italian lyricist.
After the war he became one of the best known lyricists, writing the lyrics of many successes for Clara Jaione, Natalino Otto, Ernesto Bonino, Carla Boni and many other artists.
In his long career Pinchi has also dedicated himself to the translation of foreign songs, such as Personality for Mina and Adriano Celentano, Peppermint twist always for the "Molleggiato" and Hey Paula for the duo Paul & Paula. He retired from the business in the mid-1960s, realizing that public tastes are changing.
