Franca D'Amato is an Italian actress and voice actress from cinema, theater and television.
Graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art, she became known to the television public in 1984 by participating in the Al Paradise variety (with the nickname of Accademia) hosted by Oreste Lionello, and worked with Gino Bramieri and Pietro Garinei on the G.B. Show.
Very active as a voice actress, she gave voice to Melina Kanakaredes in CSI: NY, to Marcia Cross in the television series Desperate Housewives, to Kelly Ripa in the sitcom Hope & Faith, to Melinda Page Hamilton in Devious Maids - Dirty laundry in Beverly Hills, Denise Richards in the soap opera Beautiful and to actresses Julianne Moore, Tilda Swinton, Juliette Binoche and Helen Hunt.
