Carlo Maria Cordio is a performer, composer, arranger and conductor.
Born in Rome in 1952, he began studying piano privately at the age of 5 and later at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, where he graduated in 1970. He then completed the courses in composition and orchestral conducting at the Chigiana Music Academy. He devoted himself to the study of the pipe organ by attending courses at the Pontifical Institute for Sacred Music in Rome, and was the official organist of the Basilica San Paolo outside the walls of Rome, who owed numerous concerts of sacred music on organs in Rome to Tamburini and Mascioni rods in various Italian cathedrals.
Immediately after graduation, Hammond proposed to become a music teacher and concert performer for his organs. Carlo Maria will combine national and international classical and jazz concert activity with the activity of an exclusive interpreter for Hammond Italia.
