Ricky Gianco, pseudonym of Riccardo Sanna, is an Italian singer, guitarist, composer and record producer.
He has sometimes been credited as Ricky Sanna. Like other screamers who started their careers in the late 1950s, he is considered one of the fathers of Italian rock music.
Defined by the Italian Rock Encyclopedia as the Italian "Pete Seeger", he is one of the precursors of rock and roll guitar in Italy. His debut companion was Gino Santercole, nephew of Adriano Celentano and first guitarist of the I Ribelli group.
