Romina Power, born Romina Francesca Power, is a naturalized italian singer, actress, TV personality and writer.
She had the opportunity to attend the lively art scene in Rome, London and Los Angeles and for a period he regularly hired LSD. In Rome, in 1967, during the making of the film Nel sole, a "musicarello", realized in the wake of the remarkable discographic success of the homonymous song, met on the set the young Albano Carrisi, who had recently depopulated in the record sales of the song, with almost one and a half million copies sold of the 45 rpm of the homonymous piece.
She married on July 26, 1970 with the Apulian singer Al Bano, with whom she shared almost entirely her artistic career and with whom she had four children.
With Albano she participated in two Eurovision Song Contest in 1976 in The Hague with We'll Live It All Again (Noi lo rivivremo di nuovo) and in 1985 in Gothenburg with Magic, oh magic, finishing both times in seventh place and winning a Sanremo Festival in 1984 with Ci sarà. Always at the Festival he collected a second place in 1982, two third places in 1987 and 1989 and an eighth place in 1991. In 1985 he participated in the parody of I promessi sposi made by the Quartetto Cetra, playing Lucia. With the separation from Al Bano, which took place in 1999, and the final divorce sentence made official on 20 July 2012 by the Brindisi court, he drastically reduced the activity of singer and TV appearances, preferring a more private life. In October 2007, after buying a house in Sedona Arizona, he left Italy to return to the United States, his homeland.
