Giovanni D'Anzi

Giovanni D'Anzi was an Italian musician and composer. Together with Alfredo Bracchi he formed a prolific pair of musical authors, active between the thirties and fifties. They wrote for the radio, for the revue, for the cinema and many of their songs became great hits. Some of the most famous titles were Ma le gambe, Non dimenticar le mie parole, Bambina innamorata, Tu musica divina, Ma l'amore no, Ti dirò. In the 1950s he continued his activity with other lyricists, such as Dalmazio Masini, and with Marcello Marchesi, with whom he wrote Bellezze in bicicletta subg by the actress Silvana Pampanini (one of the most famous songs of the time).
