Augusto Martelli, also known by the pseudonym Bob Mitchell, was an Italian composer, conductor and music producer, son of the composer Giordano Bruno Martelli and brother of soprano Edith Martelli.
Martelli also dedicated himself to the composition of sacred music. In particular, in 1991 he wrote and arranged the Missa Antoniana, recorded by the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano conducted by Mariele Ventre and performed for the first time at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna in 1993.
He has also collaborated with various Italian artists, such as Jovanotti, Iva Zanicchi, Ornella Vanoni, Giorgio Gaber, Johnny Dorelli, Cristina D'Avena, Heather Parisi, Giuni Russo.
