Terry Pratchett

English author of fantasy novels. Born Terence David John Pratchett, 28 April 1948, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England. Died 12 March 2015, Broad Chalke, Wiltshire, England. Best known as the creator of the Discworld fantasy series and collaboration with Neil Gaiman on Good Omens. Appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1998; knighted for services to literature in 2009.
