Elvira Tonelli

In 1953 the film Il sole nella occhi by Antonio Pietrangeli made his debut, a director who also refers to it the following year for Lo scapolo entrusting her with the role of Alberto Sordi's mother. For all the fifties and sixties she is a character actress in many films directed by directors such as Loy, Pietrangeli, Camerini, Monicelli, Puccini and others. His films include Monicelli's I soliti ignoti of 1958, in the role of Assunta, and I compagni, again directed by Monicelli, in 1963 as Cesarina. His last role is that of Jole in the film Don Camillo and the youth of today of Camerini in 1972.
