Mariano Rigillo is an Italian actor.
Graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art, he had Orazio Costa and Sergio Tofano as teachers. In the second half of the sixties, he established himself in the theater, trying his hand both in the classical repertoire (Seneca, Giordano Bruno, Shakespeare, Goldoni) and modern (Bertolt Brecht, Pirandello, Giuseppe Patroni Griffi). The collaboration with Giuseppe Patroni Griffi engages him in the theater, with Naples, night and day and Naples, who stays and who leaves, and allows him to debut in the cinema with Metti una sera a cena (1969). A few years later he plays Nino Bixio in Bronte: a chronicle of a massacre that history books have not told of Florestano Vancini, from 1972.
