Gianni Isidori was born in Rome (Italy) in 1931.
A master of graphic and not only humor, he is among the founders of post-war Italian humor, along with Vighi, Cavallo, Nistri, Putzolu, Cavandoli, Biassoni, Morosetti and so on. Of a shy nature, therefore skilled in making his aspiring biographers lose track of him, he gained visibility in 1950 on the Travaso directed by Guasta. The success is immediate, and in 1954 he won the Golden Palm in Bordighera. In August 1955 one of the final numbers of the glorious first series of the Travasissimo is a special entirely dedicated to him.
