Aram Ilyich Khachaturyan Russian: Арам Ильич Хачатурян Armenian: Արամ Եղիայի Խաչատրյան 6 June (O.S. 24 May) 1903, Kojori, Tiflis Province, Russian Empire – 1 May 1978, Moscow, USSR. Was a Soviet Armenian composer and conductor. He is considered one of the leading Soviet composers.
