Amedeo Fago is an Italian set designer and film director.
Fago graduated in architecture from the University of Rome and then turned to theater design. From 1967 he also worked for the film.
Fago wrote as an author for the theater and, after founding the culturally oriented "Politecnico", also worked as a director of documentary films. In 1985 he made his debut as a feature film director.
Fago is married to costume designer Lia Morandini and is the brother of director Giovanni Fago. Since 2004 he and his wife have directed the “Laura Film Festival”.
