Emanuela Giordano is an author and director, studies at the Academy of Dramatic Art and at La Sapienza University, with a dramaturgy course directed by Eduardo De Filippo. She started working at the age of nineteen, writing and conducting cultural broadcasts for Radio Tre Rai and for the Third Rai TV network: music, theater, cinema, dance, literature. For years an interpreter, director and stage writer, she then devoted herself entirely to directing and dramaturgy.
She teaches creative writing at the school of dramaturgy directed by Dacia Maraini. She has collaborated for many years in theatrical writing with Lidia Ravera. She taught integrated theater methods for people with mental problems or social problems at the La Sapienza master's course. She has been collaborating since 2011 on Giulia Minoli's project: The stage of legality which involves collaboration between schools, juvenile prisons and theater.
