Corrado Colabucci was an italian costume designer.
Colabucci graduated in law, but was immediately enraptured by the passion for the show for which he had an innate vocation. His taste and his technical ability were also highly appreciated in Paris, so much so that the Moulin Rouge - which renews its productions every seven to ten years - had entrusted him with the creation twice in succession (therefore for almost twenty years in a row) of the fifteen hundred costumes used in the most sumptuous variety in the world.
For 40 years Colabucci has been one of the protagonists of Italian TV, and in particular of the television variety.
He dressed all the stars of TV Saturday evening: from Mina to Ornella Vanoni, from Lorella Cuccarini to Raffaella Carrà, who also followed in her shows on Spanish TV.
