Barbara Pilavin (September 27, 1923 - Los Angeles, January 2, 2005 West Hollywood, California, USA) was an Italian naturalized American actress.

The meeting with the actor-director Vittorio De Sica turns out to be decisive for Barbara Pilavin who directs her in 1970 in Il giardino dei Finzi Contini and in 1974 in Il viaggio; in both cases interpreting the mother of one of the protagonists.
After moving to the United States in the first half of the 1980s, Barbara Pilavin continues to act until the year of her death.
