Don Powell

Don Powell (Los Angeles, California, USA, 1936 - Udine, Friuli Venezia-Giulia, Italy 1995) was an American singer, songwriter and actor. Having entered Archie Savage's corps de ballet, Don Powell arrived in Italy with the company in 1958; he began working as a singer and pianist in Rome, and in 1959 he married Alessandra Veresani. In 1986 he moved to Friuli where he spent the last years of his life together with his new partner P.B. from which he will have his daughter Georgia.
