Following in the family’s footsteps (her father was Tata Giacobetti, founder of the Quartetto Cetra, and her mother, the actress Valeria Fabrizi), she combined her university studies with studies in Communications, her great passion.
She attended a Master’s course in PR, Marketing, Media Relations and Advertising, during which she lived for a long time in London, where she began to take her first steps with major communications agencies.
In 1989, Maurizio Costanzo was struck by her passion, creativity, knowledge of the entertainment industry and ease in personal relationships, despite her youth, and appointed her as editor in charge of the entertainment and show business sector of his programme.
Giorgia was responsible for the casting of the Maurizio Costanzo Show for 12 years. This helped her professional development to the extent that she also began to work as a freelancer in the press office, keeping an eye on some of the top names in television, film and music.
