Arturo Testa

Arturo Testa is an Italian baritone, famous in the 1950s. Participate in Il Musichiere, Canzonissima, the Naples Festival and five editions of the Sanremo Song Contest. His style, the color of his voice and his sound are reminiscent of the African American crooner Billy Eckstine who, at the time of Testa's debut, was at the top of the jazz and pop charts in America. In 1962 he participated in the Gran Festival of Piedigrotta. In the meantime, he took part in many operas at the Teatro alla Scala.
